This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share information when you use the Car Transport UK Driver App ("the App").

By registering as a driver and using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

  • The current version of the App does not collect continuous GPS location tracking in the background
  • If location features are introduced in a future release, we will request permission in-app before collecting location data

F. Device & Technical Data

  • IP address
  • Device type
  • App usage logs

5. Customer Information Shared With Drivers

Once a driver accepts a job through the App, the following customer details may be made available:

  • Vehicle details
  • Relevant job notes

This information is provided strictly for the purpose of completing the transport service.

Drivers are required to:

  • Use customer information only for fulfilling the assigned job
  • Not retain, copy, distribute or use customer data for marketing or personal use
  • Delete or destroy any downloaded or saved customer data after job completion

Unauthorised use of customer data may result in immediate termination and potential legal action.

6. Location Services

The current version of the App does not perform continuous location tracking.

If location collection is added in a future update, we will:

  • Clearly explain why location is needed
  • Request your permission before collecting location data
  • Update this Privacy Policy to reflect the change

7. Sharing Your Information

We may share driver information with:

  • Dealership clients (job-related data only)
  • Customers (limited operational data such as driver name or contact if required)

We do not sell personal data.

8. Data Security

Sensitive documents such as ID and insurance certificates are securely stored and accessible only to authorised personnel.

  • Job records: 6 years
  • Financial records: 6 years

Data is securely deleted once retention requirements expire.

10. Deleting your driver account

This section explains how to permanently delete your Car Transport UK Driver App account from within the App.

How to delete your account (in the App)

If you are signed in and your application is approved, you can delete your account from the App: open Settings, then Delete account, and follow the on-screen confirmation steps.

If deletion succeeds, you will receive a confirmation email that your account has been deleted.

Active jobs and deletion availability

You may be unable to delete your account while you have an active job that must still be completed (for example a collection or delivery in progress). In that case, complete the delivery first, then try deletion again.

Deletion completion

When your account is deleted, it is removed from live driver account records. Account deletion from the App is intended to complete immediately once all eligibility checks pass.

What we typically delete

After your account is removed from our live systems, your driver profile, onboarding details, verification documents, App sign-in data tied to that account, and other day-to-day account data are deleted as part of that process.

11. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
